If you got an AR.Drone, you might as well get a set of Parrot AR.Drone Replacement Propellers gears and the AR.Drone mounting tool-set. They should really sell these as a starter pack.
I recommend getting them before you need them, otherwise you're going to be grounded for a week waiting for the parts to come in.
You might want to also get a set of 4 headphone foam covers for the motors as well. (you put them over the bottom of the motor to prevent dirt from getting in)

It was good to find that extra parts are available for the toy, as I do seem to crash it a fair amount. There could be better installation instructions, but I am sure I can figure it out once the need arises. Only deduct one star for no instructions. Thank you for supporting the product after the initial sale.

This is a great way to replace that broken shaft or gear upon a terrible landing (or in my case, you flew it too high in too much wind lol).
One thought though is that the shaft is _ever_ so slightly thinner than the original one so there is like .05 mm of play in the whole propeller system. It doesn't interfere with flying and the Drone works normally upon replacement, however, it may be something to think about.

Item arrived in apparently good condition. Have not had any serious crashes (yet), so as far as fit and function, I can not comment. Parts are made of molded plastic and I can not see any excess sprue material so I expect no problems when it comes time to replace the original gears.
