I got the AR.Drone for Christmas and I will say it is a lot of fun! Now what does this have to do with this battery? Well, this is the stock battery that came with the drone. I was disappointing that I only got 8 min of flight time. I was not happy with such poor performance and figured the best solution is to find a better quality battery. Looking on Amazon I found the battery below which advertised more flight time and after crunching the numbers (difference in battery capacity ratings) they seem to add up to the advertised battery life increase. I purchased the battery and found the advertised performance increase is true, I personally get more than 20 min of flight time, even more with the outdoor hull. I have two of the battery upgrades which gives me just under an hour of fun!
The moral of the story is if you are looking for more flight time than check out this battery:

The above battery upgrade has more capacity for the same weight and size. I have found flight time varies with the wind and how fast you are trying to fly. In addition the outdoor hull does increase flight time as well. The above battery is worth it! Note that the linked battery upgrade can be charged with the OEM battery charger, of course since the battery upgrade is a higher capacity battery it will take a little longer to charge with the OEM charger. Note: if you can find a 2.6 amp LiPo charger you can cut the charge time in half but I will leave that subject for another review, don't want to overload you with info here.

Do a little shopping around online and you'll find a 1350mAh that'll outfly this 1000mAh by several minutes. I paid $5 less than this for a better battery.
The 1000mAh one that came with the drone is okay. It makes the drone fly, so I gave it 2 stars. If you're going to the trouble of buying a replacement, there are much better batteries out there for less cost.

I ordered these at a bad time to write a review. It is winter where I live and the drone and my Asus Prime tablet do not enjoy the cold weather so I have not had a tremendous amount of opportunity to test them out. I have fully charged and drained each battery (I ordered two) and they seemed to work fine.
Shipping was fast, packaging was not damaged.
Overall great experience with this buyer.

The battery arrived fast and worked correctly, the only problem is that the battery does not fit correctly into the battery compartment. it is about 1/4 inch too long. Fortunately the Parrot AR used a velcro strap to secure the battery which allows you to use battery is you insert it diagonally, with one end outside of the battery compartment. Now if I can just learn how to fly the @#$% thing.
