It took me about 5 minutes to get these out of the box and on posts. Several weeks later, they are staying lit most of each night, and illuminate well for a solar product.

I got two of these for my side deck and they're pretty good. The light is not very bright but I was not expecting it to be. It's more decorative lighting than practical. I have a 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 square post and it justs fits. Any post bigger and it will not. I got these about a week ago and so far I like them. For the price it's a good deal. 12/15/2011 One of the post lights stop working. Tested the battery and it is good. Replaced the battery but still no good. So after a year one lamp working and one lamp not working.

I had these for a month when one of them just stopped working. I bought 6. I changed the battery and that wasn't the problem. I checked it with a volt meter and there was juice going from the solar panel to the battery. The sensor must have been bad. I contacted Moonrays and they were no help. I contacted Amazon and they quickly sent me a replacement and a return shipping label no charge to me. I am very pleased with Amazon's customer service. The solar light is very nice. I only had one that was hard to get to fit a 4 x 4 post. I just shaved some of the plastic away and then it fit. They are pretty bright. Obviously they are not going to provide ample light at night, but they are brighter than I expected. Overall, I plan on buying more as long as Amazon stands by them if any more go bad within the year warranty. It's now been 3 months and they are still working.

I just bought one of these to see if I liked it. I LOVED it, so I had to order another one. I was surprised at how much light it gives off at night. Fit our post perfectly. Hubby put it up in under 5 minutes. You won't go wrong with this one.

Had to return item. Base of lamp too small to fit the square fence post. Would have required major work on fence post to make this solar light fit. Seller should have provided dimensions in sales ad.
